Will you bill my insurance company?
Yes. We are approved by all major insurance companies. We cannot file your claim for you, but all you need is a claim number. Tell your insurance company that you would like to use Hummingbird Auto Glass!

Do you match prices?
We attempt to match the price of a local competitor in the same city, that is of like kind and quality to our service.

What kind of warranties are offered for auto glass replacement?
The glass that we use is guaranteed to be free of defects when installed. We warranty our workmanship against water leaks and molding trim issues. Rock damage from the road is not part of our warranty.

Do you have mobile service?
Yes. We offer mobile service for our customers. If we are installing a windshield, it will need to be dry. Windshields are installed by gluing them in with urethane. If our glue gets wet during the installation process, it may not bond correctly. For this reason, we may need access to a garage or shop with enough room to work and move around in.

How long will it take before I can drive my vehicle?
After your windshield has been installed, it is a flat one-hour cure time for our Sika Mach 60 urethane to reach its Safe Drive Away Time (SDAT).

If I use my insurance to have my windshield repaired, will that cause my premium to go up?
Most insurance companies consider glass to be a "not at fault" scenario that should not make your rates go up. There are a few insurance companies that do raise rates. Please check with your insurance claims department when filing your claim.

Are you qualified to install my windshield?
All of our technicians have current certification from Sika in compliance with the Auto Glass Safety Council. This covers all four required categories: comprehensive retention system training; mechanics of auto glass removal, replacement, and relevant technical specifications; installation standards and practices; safety issues.
